Meet the Team
Here at Berks IP Law, we believe “no man (or woman) is an island,” so community and teamwork are very important to us. Here are some of my partners, co-counsels, and collaborators that I work with frequently:
Dimitrios J Angelis
Dimitrios has spent his career both on the “legal side” as a General Counsel, and on the “business side” as a CEO of a public company, thereby allowing him the breadth of experience to better understand the value of sound legal advice together with good business judgment.
The majority of Dimitrios’ time has been in the life sciences advising on a broad spectrum of matters. This includes drafting a wide range of contracts, conducting negotiations, running cross-border transactions, mergers and acquisitions, advising on securities law, global patent strategy, litigation strategy, compliance, employment law, initial public offerings, private placements, and real estate matters.
Dimitrios has advised clients at every stage of their development including the start-up stage, raising private and public capital, doing roadshows, the IPO, managing investor relations, preparing for a sale, and negotiating the sale of companies.
Dimitrios currently sits on three public company boards and advises clients in ways that highlight the culmination of his broad legal experiences and his unique executive officer posts. Common sense, good judgment and the ability to negotiate exceptionally well underline the valuable advice Dimitrios gives.
